This is a video I made on a studio trip to Armstrong Park in Westfield, IN. It was my first experience with any kind of video editing software (Window's Movie Maker) and I am actually kind of impressed by how easy everything is to edit. I could see me using this a lot in the future.

Portfolio Mock Ups.
I was thinking of using a spread similar to this one for a color coded portfolio to distinguish projects.
This spread was fairly simple with the photo bar at the bottom, but I'm still a little iffy about it. I really wish I could be more confident in what I was laying out. I thought it centered the plan though which is what I wanted.

Computer Applications in Landscape Architecture
This project was a midterm. It combined a little bit of everything that we learned over the semester so far. This was actually really fun. There weren't a lot of guidelines, so it gave us a chance to be creative as long as we included what they asked for. I still have a lot to learn in publisher, but I'm gettin' there!

Virtual psychogeographicultural concept collage
This project was supposed to teach us more about the
analysis of a place. I chose The
Vatican. This assignment let me explore Photoshop
more and as it turns out, I actually don’t know everything (I was
shocked). This also helped me a lot with
composition and board layout. A lot of
it has to do with what looks balanced and what looks good to you, but in the
analysis part, I had to put words in there too and even though it was a bit of
a pain to rearrange things at first, it was worth learning something new.

Exercise 2 - The web we weave
For this exercise, we were to think of our personal design process and make a web of the programs we used to do it. From this exercise I learned that I realllllly need to expand my computer knowledge...good thing I'm taking this class, right?!
